The Forest & Wildlife Protection Board, operating under the Module of Environment Forest Climate Change Promotion Council , is dedicated to safeguarding India’s natural heritage. The board develops and implements strategies to combat deforestation, protect endangered species, improve wildlife habitat management, and address challenges arising from human–wildlife conflict. It also works to strengthen forest governance, enhance wildlife protection frameworks, and promote active community involvement in conservation.
